Prag’s Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team is highly sought after by NDIS support coordinators and families with individual practitioners being recommended by families, external clinicians and support networks on a regular basis.

We bring a wealth of experience, expertise and skills, and are known for the great outcomes we achieve for our participants, families and support networks.

Our unique approach to Specialist Behaviour Support includes:

  • Practitioner/Participant matching – we believe that success is based on effective relationships. We aim to understand the individual skills, interests and needs of each participant and match a suitable Practitioner.
  • Person centred practice – at Prag, we believe every participant and their needs and interests are different. We don’t have a “one size fits all” approach and work with you and your supporters to focus on what’s most important to you.
  • Support how it suits you best – our team of innovative and flexible Practitioners will provide support how it suits you best. This might be at home or school, in the workplace or community, or at our office.
  • Continued support – we believe the development of a high-quality, person-centred Behaviour Support Plan is only part of the equation. Training supporters, assisting with implementation and continued monitoring and review are all critical factors for long term success.

Prag Consulting is a leading provider of NDIS Specialist Behaviour Support and Therapeutic Support services across metropolitan Melbourne, as well as satellite services in Gippsland and parts of Tasmania.

We provide tailored and evidence-based specialist behaviour support services to children, young persons and adults. We work from a trauma responsive perspective, and our work is grounded in human rights principles, humanistic values and evidence based, best-practice principles of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).

We are highly regarded for our services to those who have multiple and complex support needs, including dual disability (intellectual disability and mental health needs), histories of inter-personal trauma, human relations, criminal justice issues, and a range of complex neurodevelopmental presentations and adaptive functioning challenges.

Our specialist services include psychological, clinical, and therapeutic services, as well as tailored assessments and learning and development supports across disability, mental health, education, justice, and insurance sectors. With extensive experience across government and non-government systems, our team delivers psychological assessments, counselling, and therapy using practical and evidence-based approaches.

We also conduct specialist and forensic assessments, including cognitive, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental screening (ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties). Our flexible service model can also support organisations and individuals through tailored programs such as EAP services, wellbeing initiatives, and clinical supervision (just to name a few!), consistently achieving positive outcomes across diverse settings.

At Prag, we understand that everyone’s needs are different. Our supervisors, all qualified psychologists and social workers, will work with you to tailor supervision to meet the needs of individual practitioners and teams.

Our expert trainers and consultants can also design training programs to meet your needs and help untangle the complex world of NDIS.
